It's just nice to come home as see that the Royals have played so well on the road...They're off to a bad start against the Mariners and have now lost 3 games in a row, but it doesn't seem as bad after they have played so well...but we'll see how the rest of the home stand goes.

The DeJesus Factor... |
The difference in the numbers is remarkable. When DeJesus has a good day it seems as though the Royals end up on top, winning the game. Sure the numbers are a bit skewed, just because of the win/loss ratio...but the batting average and the runs scored is completely disproportional when compared to wins and losses. When you look at DeJesus' numbers over the last 7 days and compare the Royals record, 1-6 is there a corelation? DeJesus has been in a slump just like the Royals over the last 2 weeks, he only has 1 extra-base hit in the last 2 weeks and is batting .240. The Royals over that stretch are 4-10.
DeJesus needs to get back on track soon or the Royals could be in for a deeper downward spiral. It's obvious Dejesus is the catalyst of this offense and needs to stay on track and on-base for the Royals to right the ship
